Salzburg Urstein Institut’s participation at China’s most important international higher education fair, the China Education Expo (CEE), was again very successful.

Well received

A large number of motivated Chinese postgraduate applicants from different provinces as well as well-informed parents visited our stands in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. In total 27.000 people attended the fair in Beijing, 2.500 in Guangzhou and 16.000 in Shanghai.
We presented the detailed schedules of our Master Programmes, Academic Modules and Learning by Travelling modules. Specifics of the international application requirements and procedure and of our Learning by Travelling special were the topic of frequently asked questions.

Not only the visitors got the chance to find out more about our Institute at the fair – thanks to the results of the CEE’s visitors’ questionnaire we also got to know our audience at the fair better:

Around 50% of the visitors at the CEE in Beijing and Shanghai are going to attend postgraduate school. Germany is ranking amongst the top 4 countries of their preferred study destinations worldwide. When considering studying abroad – 46% of the audience at the fair prefer to contact schools directly and deal with the procedures by themselves without being supported by an agent. If you see this exactly the same way – please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly and send an e-mail to our admissions office! We are happy to answer your questions and support you throughout the admissions process.

International education at its best

Salzburg Urstein Institut thus again proudly represented international education at the highest level and acted as brand ambassador for European culture and heritage in context with a globalised international higher education ecosystem.

During the exhibitions, we received very positive feedback on our curriculum as well as the specialisation of our programmes from both prospective students as well as official side.

A total of 582 Exhibitors presented a great variety of educational opportunities. Along with a small number of other Austrian Higher Education Institutions we were accompanied by the impressive German pavilion and representations of other EU member states. Salzburg Urstein Institut is happy to see numerous other Universities from the European Union showing the vast possibilities and excellent study opportunities we have to offer at the Expo.

With our booth neighbour, the Austrian Center at the Fudan University in Shanghai, we are highly delighted to see the exposure of Austrian Public Universities now also at the Chinese fairs and look forward to continue connecting future students to fields we cannot offer.

Learning by Travelling and Academic Modules

As visitors of our booth and followers of our blog already know, we see learning opportunities everywhere – which is why we created the module programmes. Apart from the standard opportunities presented here and here, we create specials (also on request for groups, if you like).

The following two special modules in February and April 2017 have sparked the interest of our visitors:

Why not visit Europe during a one-week vacation during Spring Festival to find out more about the university system, job opportunities and visit some of the most scenic cities Europeans study and work in? Europe as a Study Destination still has a few spots left – book here and consider the optional ski trip!

If you are a lover and knower of classical European Music, and long to connect this passion with your business & career, our special on the Music of Europe connects you with one of the most outstanding Music Festivals – the Easter Festival in Salzburg. In a special co-operation with the Karajan Institute, you will be able to connect your passion with your business life.

To find out more about this exclusive offer, get in touch with our team – this module is on personal request only.
