Salzburg Urstein Institut’s participation at some of China’s most important international higher education fairs, the China Education Expo (CEE) and QS Grad School Tour Beijing and Shanghai, was an astounding success.

Well received

A large number of motivated Chinese postgraduate applicants from different provinces as well as well-informed parents visited our stands in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to learn more about the detailed schedules of our Master Programmes, Academic Modules and Learning by Travelling modules. Specifics of the international application requirements and procedure were the topic of frequently asked questions.

International education at its best

Listed as the only participating Austrian institution at the CEE, Salzburg Urstein Institut proudly represented international education at the highest level and acted as brand ambassador for European culture and heritage. With this mission we welcomed high ranking visitors such as the EU Ambassador to China, his Excellency Dietmar Schweissgut and Helmut Spitzl, Acting Director and Attaché for Science and Technology at the Science and Technology Section of the Austrian Embassy Beijing at our stand. Veronika Gmachl-Abdul, founder and Managing Director of the Salzburg Urstein Institut, held several seminars and greeted guests personally on site.

During the exhibitions, we received very positive feedback on our curriculum as well as the specialisation of our programmes from both prospective students as well as official side.
